Volleyball

St. Mary Avon CYO Volleyball is open to girls in grades 3-8.  The program is available to all students enrolled in St. Mary Avon School or St. Mary PSR.  Please note that CYO rules prohibit players from being on a CYO team and another volleyball team at the same time.  Once the registration period closes, the coach selection and team formation process will begin.

The registration fee is $110 through June 30th.  After the deadline, the fee is $120 and spots will be subject to availability. 

• Grades 3-5:  If there are multiple teams in a grade level, per CYO rules teams will be balanced as evenly as possible based on overall abilities.  
• Grades 6-8:  Based on CYO bylaws and divisions, if team splits are necessary, players are placed on teams most closely coinciding with their abilities and skill level.  

Practices/Games – Practices are typically twice per week beginning the first week in August.  Games begin in late August and are held on weekends.  Teams can also elect to participate in area tournaments.  The season concludes in mid-late October.
