Founded in 1885, Saint Mary School has been providing students in Avon and surrounding communities with the educational tools and abilities they need to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. We offer core subjects, unique learning opportunities and extracurricular activities, all within a family-like environment.
Saint Mary School focuses on education and faith within a close school community. Our students are instructed in religion daily and encouraged to spread their faith through works at our school and in the surrounding communities.
Saint Mary School is continuously exploring the ways that technology can enhance a student's learning experience. Through our Technology Education Committee, teachers and students have access to all kinds of educational technology, including 3D printing, Raspberry Pi systems, VR goggles, 1:1 Chromebook program, and kinds of digital content, educational software, and authoring tools at our school.
Beyond our core curriculum, Saint Mary School has an array of both fine and performing arts, technology-based clubs, as well as physical education and sports programs. From activities like Drones Club, Forensics Investigations, Farming Engineers, Passport Club, Power of the Pen, Crochet Club to unique physical programs like Foot Skills and Rock the Challenge, Saint Mary's provides a comprehensive set of opportunities, allowing students to further develop their personal interests.
