We are proud to be the first school operating in Lorain County to receive the official STEM designation by the Ohio Department of Education. Saint Mary is also a designated STREAM school in the Diocese of Cleveland, integrating the disciplines of Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math into daily learning.

Tradition

Our school and parish pride themselves on a strong history rooted in faith and family. Founded in 1885, our school has grown from a small group of German Catholic immigrant farmers to a flourishing body of students in Kindergarten through 8th grade plus multiple preschool programs to serve children from age 3 and up. We believe those hard-working founding families would be proud of where their dedication to Saint Mary has brought us today.
