We will make every effort to work with those families that participate in other spring sports. In fact, children involved in other sports are encouraged to participate as this program can be a great way build speed, stamina and proper running form. Practices will be structured to incorporate these athletic qualities while improving their track and field skills.
CYO Practices: Practices will be two times per week beginning indoors in early March and shift to outside at St. Mary and at a local track as weather permits.
It is understood that athletes participate in other sports and will make practices / meets when they can.
CYO Meets: CYO Track and Field consists of running events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, hurdles, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay) and field events (shot put, discus, long jump and high jump). Meets will be on weekends (Saturdays or Sundays) and will begin in early April and conclude in mid-May.

The season will conclude with a meet held at Padua High School in mid-May.
